Spring is our annual time of rebirth and renewal. The fresh smells, longer days and warmer temperatures get our juices flowing and get us focused on the summer ahead. The locals standing in line for that first slice of Sam’s Pizza is another barometer that summer is coming.
Spring is also one of the best times of year for real estate. So far in 2017, sales have been brisk. In January and February alone, a total of 374 properties in Cape May County went to closing. The first week of March already recorded 48 more successful real estate transactions.
If you have been anticipating buying a shore home or selling the one you own, there is no time like the present. Now is the time to start making memories to share with your children and grandchildren. I would love to hear about some of your special moments. I know I have many. I remember lugging a playpen, beach chairs and coolers and assigning all the kids something to carry down the mile long Wildwood beach to the water. But it was worth it seeing their smiles and hearing their laughter as they built sandcastles and splashed in the ocean. Now, they are all grown up, and it’s time for the grandchildren.
I’d love to hear from you and help you start your own family traditions.
